What is SEO?

SEO, or Search Engine Optimization is a term widely used in today's world.  But what does it really mean? 

Search Engine Optimization is the process of managing the contents of a website or a single webpage to increase its relevancy to specifically targeted keywords on various search engines.  It also includes link building - that is, making sure links from other websites coming into the optimized website are properly named and have the correct address. 

The end result is producing a higher "organic search" listing which will ultimately increase the number of visitors to the website from people searching for specific terms or phrases.
